Steve Scott was born in
Vernal, Utah. Right after High School he spent a stint in the Navy. Upon his discharge he studied fashion design at Parsons in New York City and Choinards in Los Angeles. Later, he became a real estate broker, opened his own office in Los Angeles. During that time he was also part owner of a very successful Mexican Restaurant in Los Angeles, called Por Favor. In 1992, retired to Palm Springs, California. He is author of the Los Angeles Times bestseller, ECHO PARK, Cafe Respect, and the recently published The Glad Hand Saloon. |
